FASTCUBE Shopfloor Assistant
FASTCUBE Shopfloor Assistant is a browser-based application that allows operators to load, visualize, correct, and validate NC programs directly on the shopfloor, without modifying the original CAM data.
The application runs locally via the FASTCUBE Launcher and opens in your default browser at http://127.0.0.1:50000/. It provides a real-time 3D viewer, a structured NC editor, and guided correction workflows, enabling operators to safely adjust NC programs before sending them to the machine.
By combining visualization, editing, and validation in a single environment, Shopfloor Assistant helps reduce programming errors, shorten setup time, and improve overall production reliability.
Key capabilities
| Capability | Description |
|---|---|
| 3D visualization | Real-time display of toolpaths, workpiece geometry, and machine joints |
| NC program editing | Line-by-line selection and correction using the editor panel |
| Spatial corrections | Apply positional offsets, rotations, translations, and reshape edits to NC program segments |
| NC change preview | Instantly preview how a change in an NC parameter affects the toolpath movement in the 3D viewer before applying the modification. |
| Collision detection | Automated detection of tool-path and fixture geometry conflicts |
| NC validation | Syntax and kinematic validation of NC code before execution |
| Project management | Upload, open, and save NC program files and project packages |
